2021 Nature Day Camp

Camp Rosenbaum is proud to announce that we are partnering with Portland Parks and Recreation to offer their Nature Day Camp to families in our community!  Through the levy that was passed in November 2020, Portland Parks and Recreation is dedicated to expanding access to programs for BIPOC communities, immigrant and refugee communities, children living with disabilities and families experiencing poverty.

Camp Rosenbaum is providing a limited number of scholarships to these families interested in enrolling their child in the Nature Day Camp!  Nature Day Camp has multiple locations and week-long sessions, so you can choose what works well for you. Through our partnership, right now you can enroll your children at no cost.

Portland Parks & Recreation: Nature Day Camp
Full day nature camps for children ages 5-12

Children spend full days exploring in small groups with trained nature educators.  Each day, campers join organized activities where they learn about nature and spend open-ended time hiking, playing games and exploring as a group.

There are six different locations and multiple weeks throughout the year to choose from.  All nature camp programs start at 9:00am and end at 3:30pm.  Click on the flyers or the Portland Parks website below to learn more!

PLEASE NOTE: Now that summer has begun, space is limited and you may be placed on a waiting list.

Thank you for your interest!  Registration is now closed.
